Synology^® Announces Free Extended Warranty on its Business Rank NAS Models, DS508, RS408, RS408-RP, and RS407 for All Existing Users

With the extended duration, Synology offers its DS508, RS408, RS408-RP, and RS407 business users a total period of 3-year warranty coverage.

Taipei, Taiwan—August 14, 2008—Synology^® Inc. today officially announced that it has decided to increase the warranty coverage on four business rank NAS models for their worldwide consumers. "To ensure satisfactory product support and customer service, a 3-year warranty for the latest Disk Station DS508 and Rack Station series models - RS408, RS408-RP, and RS407, is our initial step," claimed Rosiel Lee, product specialist of Synology.

Synology endeavors to respond intuitively to all customer demands and to appreciate their high level of confidence in the entire product range. "By extending the warranty period, it shows both our commitment and confidence in our products," continues Rosiel. "The extended warranty on Synology's 4 covered models automatically applies to all inventories and to all purchased units with no additional charge for their existing users."
