The Synology Surveillance Station provides you an easy and economical network video recording solution. By connecting the IP cameras to the network and setting up the camera on Surveillance Station, you can watch the camera-monitored area on a real-time basis. Also, you will be able to view and manage the recorded video clips, and set up camera recording details, including schedule, recording frame rate, motion-detection area, and resolution. Feel free to choose either the continuous or motion-detection recording mode that best fits your need.

Optional Synology Camera License Pack is required for installing additional cameras on the Synology Surveillance Station.

Setup steps:

1. Go to the Network Services > Surveillance Station page in the Disk Station Manager, and check on Enable Surveillance Station, and click OK.
   
2. Click on Surveillance Station at the upper right-hand corner.
   
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the camera setup.
