Synology^® Disk Station DS109 and DS209 received the "Editorial Tip" and the "Best in Test" award respectively from the Dutch magazine COMPUTER!TOTAAL

Taipei, Taiwan—July 22, 2009—Synology^® Disk Station DS109 and DS209 surpassed 31 reviewed 1-bay to 5-bay NAS servers and were bestowed the "Editorial Tip" and the "Best in Test" award respectively in the August issue of the Dutch magazine COMPUTER!TOTAAL.

Mr. Edmond Varwijk, the editor who conducted the review, commented: "Disk Station Manager 2.1 is completely AJAX-based, available in Dutch and very user friendly." Varwijk further unearthed the talents of the firmware and reported: "The DS209 leaves nothing to be desired. You can easily share files and folders. There are FTP server, File Station that offers access via the web browser, and Photo Station – an attractive way for publishing photos on the NAS."
