Synology^® Disk Station DS209 Received the Editor's Choice Award from Computer Press Magazine, Russia

Taipei, Taiwan—June 24, 2009—Synology^® Disk Station DS209 outperformed other 2-bay NAS devices in a roundup review conducted by Computer Press Magazine and was honored with Editor's Choice award in its May issue.

The DS209 comes with Disk Station Manager 2.1 software that is very easy to use and versatile. File Station 2 offers drag-n-drop and right-click capability allowing users not familiar with FTP to easily access files with a web browser. Cross platform data storage and sharing between Windows, Mac, and Linux is allowed. Windows ADS integration, business mail server, corporate surveillance and various backup alternatives are also provided.
