Synology® NAS Servers Now Support Five Brand New USB Printer Models and Upgraded Support for Samsung Color Laser Printer CLP-510
Taipei, Taiwan—October 02, 2008—Synology® Inc. today officially announced the compatibility of its NAS products with five new USB printer models – HP DeskJet3845, LaserJet CP15181ni, LaserJet P2015, OfficeJet J6480, and EPSON R230.
These five new USB printers have successfully passed a series of compatibility tests in the Synology laboratory and proved to be fully compatible with Synology NAS Servers on PC and selected Mac operation systems. Moreover, Samsung Color Laser Printer CLP-510 is now not only workable with PC but also Mac OS series.
The verification of these new printers and the upgraded support for Samsung Color Laser Printer CLP-510 makes it possible for customers to use Synology NAS servers combined with more alternatives on their choosing of USB printer.
HP DeskJet3845, LaserJet CP15181ni, LaserJet P2015, OfficeJet J6480, and EPSON R230 function seamlessly on PC and selected Mac OS series. Samsung Color Laser Printer CLP-510 is compatible with both PC and Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4, 10.5.
