Synology® NAS Servers Now Support Three Brand New Hard Drive Models: WD1000FYPS, WD7500AYPS, and Samsung HD753LJ

Taipei, Taiwan—September 25, 2008—Synology® Inc. today officially announced the compatibility of its NAS products with three new hard drive models - Western Digital WD1000FYPS, WD7500AYPS, and Samsung HD753LJ. These three hard drives have successfully passed a series of stress and compatibility tests in the Synology laboratory and proved to be fully compatible with Synology NAS Servers of x07 and x08 series.

The verification of the three new models makes it possible for customers to use Synology NAS servers combined with larger capacities, balanced system performance, enhanced reliability, and energy conservation. Users now have more alternatives when choosing a hard drive model to fit their Synology NAS Server and can expect these models to bring out their best achievement available.
