Synology Drive Server

Synology Drive Server, comprising of Synology Drive Admin Console, Synology Drive web portal, and Synology Drive ShareSync, simplifies file management, sharing, and synchronization. Once enabled by administrators, users can access Synology Drive via web browsers, desktop applications, and mobile apps.

Enable My Drive and Team Folder

Before users can use Synology Drive, an administrator needs to set up users' My Drive and Team Folder in Synology Drive Admin Console.

Download Client Applications

You can download the corresponding client applications to use Synology Drive on your computer or mobile devices.

  • Synology Drive Client desktop application:
    • Go to Synology Download Center and download the application from the Desktop Utilities category.
    • Open Synology Drive in a browser and click the Account icon > Get desktop and mobile apps > For Desktop.
  • Synology Drive mobile app: Go to App Store or Google Play to download the app.

To use online editing and collaboration functions, install Synology Office from Package Center.

Access via Web Portal

For web portal access, administrators must first go to Control Panel > Login Portal > Applications to configure connection settings. Once complete, users can access Synology Drive via either of the following ways:

  • Go to Main Menu > Synology Drive.
  • In a browser, enter:
    http://private IP address of your Synology NAS/Drive/
