Creating Channels and Conversations
Channels and conversations are used for different purposes. A channel is where a group of people can discuss a specific topic. A conversation is a private message system where you can chat with one person or a small group of people, and a bot conversation is a one-on-one conversation between you and the bot.
To quickly find and enter a channel or conversation:
- Click on the Find button at the top of the left sidebar. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + K.
- In the Find window that appears, you can switch between the All, Channels, or Conversations tabs. In all three tabs, unread messages will show up at the top of the list, with the most recent messages shown first.
- Search for conversations or channels by entering keywords, usernames, or nicknames in the search box at the top.
- Click on a channel or conversation to enter it.
