Notes:
- QuickConnect connections do not support syncing with CalDAV clients. Consider using DDNS for external access.
- All calendars uses the same CalDAV URL to sync to macOS/iOS. To sync multiple calendars on macOS/iOS, you only need to configure the settings once.
- Synology Calendar supports HTTPS connections. If your computer encounters security verification issues while connecting to your Synology NAS, make sure to trust the 'synology.com' certificate in your browser (e.g., Safari).
- Starting with macOS 10.13 and iOS 12, only server addresses with a trusted certificate can be synced to the Mac Calendar. We recommend setting up a Synology DDNS hostname and applying a Let's Encrypt certificate. Learn more about insecure connections and certificates.
- Each calendar uses its own dedicated CalDAV URL to sync to Thunderbird. If you need to sync multiple calendars to Thunderbird, you need to configure them separately.
- Since Synology Calendar doesn't support Kerberos and SSL, you may deselect Use Kerberos v5 for authentication.
- If you're unable to sync your Calendar, try signing in with an account that uses English characters (ASCII). If you're not an administrator, contact your administrator to resolve username issues.
- Starting with macOS 10.15 Catalina, the built-in Reminders app can no longer sync with Synology Calendar because of incompatibility issues.
- You can choose whether or not to show reminders and send emails depending on your settings on Thunderbird.
- Outlook CalDav Synchronizer only supports servers with a trusted certificate. We recommend setting up a Synology DDNS hostname and applying a Let's Encrypt certificate.
