Overview

On the Overview page, you can view the basic information regarding various aspects of Web Station, such as the default server, personal website, and back-end packages.

General

Default server status:

  • Normal: The server back-end and the PHP back-end are working normally.
  • Abnormal: Errors occurred to the server back-end or the PHP back-end because the relevant packages have been disabled or uninstalled. To solve this:
  1. Go to Web Service.
  2. Select the service with abnormal status and click Edit.
  3. Select an option from the HTTP back-end server drop-down menu.
  4. Click Save.

Personal website status:

  • Enabled: The personal website feature is enabled.
  • Disabled: The personal website feature is disabled.

Web service portal status:

  • Normal: All the web service portals on your Synology NAS are working normally.
  • Abnormal: Errors occurred to the web service portals on your Synology NAS. To solve this:
  1. Go to Web Portal.
  2. Select the portal with abnormal status and click Edit.
  3. Select an option from the HTTP back-end server drop-down menu.
  4. Change the script language settings if needed.
  5. Click Save.
  • --: No web service portals are set on your Synology NAS.

Back-end Packages

Package status:

For back-end packages, you may see the following statuses:

  • Installed: The package is installed on your Synology NAS.
  • --: The package is not installed on your Synology NAS.

To manage a back-end package:

Click the 1.png icon in the Management column of a package. The description page of the package will then be opened in Package Center where you can manage the package.

Service Packages

Package status:

  • Not installed: The package is not installed on your Synology NAS.
  • Enabled: The package is installed and enabled on your Synology NAS.
  • Disabled: The package is installed but disabled on your Synology NAS.

To manage a service package:

Click the 2.png icon in the Management column of a package. The description page of the package will then be opened in Package Center where you can manage the package.
