Synology^® Expands Compatibility with Dahua IP Cam

Taipei, Taiwan—February 25, 2014—Synology^® today announced its NVR integration with Dahua Technology, manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products. This integration adds full-ranged of Dahua cameras into Synology’s compatibility portfolio, including some of the most popular models including HDBW3300, HFW5100C, and SD40212S-HN that cater to cost-effective multi-sites, multi-organization installations. Budget-conscious users can now achieve federated and optimized management process on a scalable and reliable platform.

Synology Surveillance Station, running on all Synology NVRs, is integrated NVR management software dedicated to facilitating the reliable surveillance architecture. Featuring easy and intuitive navigation, Synology CMS (Central Management System) offers large-scale, multi-sites deployment a scalable and unified point of control. With the support of batch editing, Windows AD, LDAP and domain trust, Synology grants an efficient and centralized management toward groups of IP cam credentials and permissions, watching live feeds up to 49 live channels in full HD quality and playback recordings, as well as conducting intelligence video analysis. Additional features include various modes of recording schedule, motion-triggered alarm, as well as SMS/Email notifications to allow instant response.
