Limitations

  1. The same Hybrid Share folder can be mounted on up to five Synology NAS devices concurrently.
  2. Hybrid Share folders cannot be mounted on a high-availability cluster created with two different Synology NAS models.
  3. CIFS/NFS remote folders cannot be mounted in a Hybrid Share folder.
  4. When connecting multiple Synology NAS to the same Hybrid Share folder, join these devices to the same domain or LDAP to synchronize file permissions.
  5. Hybrid Share folders cannot be set as sync folders in Synology Drive ShareSync.
  6. Hybrid Share is not supported in China.
