Notes:

  1. Applies with proof of purchase available. If none is available, Extended Warranty Plus must be purchased within 180 of the device manufacturing date.

  2. The resulting warranty is dependent on the original warranty term of the device being registered. The starting date of Extended Warranty Plus additional coverage is calculated based on the purchase date of your Synology NAS. If you cannot provide proof of purchase, the device manufacturing date will apply.

  3. Defective products must be returned to the service center designated by Synology in Germany, and the US depending on the user's registered Extended Warranty Plus service location. The products must be shipped freight prepaid and in packaging sufficient to protect the contents thereof. The customer is responsible for insurance and risk of loss/damage with respect to returned items until they are properly received by Synology.

  4. Express shipping is a paid add-on available in select countries only.

  5. Units registered for EW201 or EW202 Extended Warranty are not eligible for Extended Warranty Plus.

  6. Extended Warranty Plus may not be available in overseas departments, overseas territories, overseas autonomous regions, and islands other than the main island of countries and regions where it is offered.

  7. Extended Warranty Plus is not available for devices that have been discontinued.
