End-of-Life Announcement for DSM 6.2

DSM 6.2 will reach the end of the Extended Life Phase on October 1, 2024. After which, DSM 6.2 and related packages or applications will no longer receive functionality, security, and package updates. Synology's technical assistance will also become more limited for devices still running DSM 6.2.

Applications reaching end-of-life:

  • Synology Moments (DSM package and iOS/Android mobile apps)
  • Synology Photo Station (DSM package, iOS/Android/Apple TV/Android TV/ Fire TV apps, and Windows/macOS Photo Station Uploader)
  • Java8
  • DokuWiki
  • SVN
  • Tomcat 7
  • Moodle
  • Docker-Redmine
  • Docker-Gitlab
  • Docker-LXQt
  • GLPI
  • OrangeHRM
  • osTicket
  • MariaDB 5

Administrators of eligible devices for the DSM 7 platform should plan and upgrade at their earliest convenience.

DSM 6.2 and packages for it will remain available through Synology Download Center.
