Release Notes for Mediaserver

Media Server biedt een multimediaservice waarmee u multimedia-inhoud op uw Synology Router kunt doorzoeken en afspelen via DLNA/UPnP-apparaten. Met Media Server kunt u deze apparaten, waaronder tv- en stereosystemen eenvoudig aansluiten op uw thuisnetwerk, en multimediabestanden die zijn opgeslagen op Synology Router naar die apparaten streamen om te genieten van muziek, foto’s en video’s.

Important Note

  1. For SRM 1.1, this update is compatible with SRM 1.1.7 update 4 and above.
  2. For SRM 1.2, this update is compatible with SRM 1.2.5 update 8 and above.
  3. AAC-encoded content can be decoded and natively played back by most end devices, such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and smart TVs. Server-side transcoding of AAC-encoded content has been a redundant and resource-consuming process that was removed starting from SRM 1.1 & 1.2.
