Node.js v12 and Synology Application Service are required to run Synology Photos
The original DSM 6.2 packages must be running the following versions for their data and configurations to be migratable:

Live Photos consist of a still photo and a video and require both components to be played. The following models do not support Live Photo video conversion and will show all Live Photos as still photos:

Limitations
To enhance the backup efficiency of iOS devices, please enable notifications for Synology Photos and connect your device to the charger
When multiple iOS devices share an iCloud storage but the synchronization of photos between devices delay, Synology Photos might not be able to back up all the photos taken during the delayed time
Casting via AirPlay is only supported on iOS devices
