Compatibility & Installation

1. Audio Station 7.2.0 requires DSM 7.2.2 and above.

Bug Fixed

1. Fixed an issue where uploading lyrics via plugins might not be successful.
2. Fixed an issue where editing the genre of FLAC files might not be successful.
3. Fixed an issue where live lyrics might not be displayed properly when playing songs via a public sharing link on a mobile device.

Important Note

1. Updated to be compatible with Advanced Media Extensions (AME) 1.0.2.
2. AAC-encoded content can be decoded and natively played back by most end devices, such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and smart TVs. Server-side transcoding of AAC-encoded content has been a redundant and resource-consuming process that was removed in DSM 6 starting from this version.
   • Streaming that requires transcoding AAC files, such as streaming AAC files via AirPlay or being able to specify transcoding settings when streaming via DLNA, will no longer be supported.

What's New

Known Issue

1. As the account linking method has been updated in Audio Station 6.5.5, please set up account linking again by going to alexa.amazon.com after the update. To learn how to set up account linking, please refer to this article.
