Release Notes for Container Manager

Container Manager is a lightweight virtualization application that gives you the ability to run thousands of containers created by developers from all over the world on DSM. The hugely popular built-in image repository, Docker Hub, allows you to find shared applications from other talented developers.

Version: 24.0.2-1535

(2025-02-11)

Important Notes

  1. Starting from this version, if you perform a clean install of the package, the "docker" shared folder will not have the "Hide this shared folder in My Network Places" setting selected by default.
  2. As of this version, settings for containers—including ports, volumes, environments, and links—cannot be modified post-creation. To modify the settings, duplicate a desired container and make the change to the newly created one.

  6. Fixed an issue where the system might not show a reminder message when the URL for registry mirror was incorrect.
  7. Fixed an issue where the container settings tab might not correctly display volumes specified with long syntax in a docker-compose file.

Limitation

  1. Restricted the "Enable resource limitation" option to be unmodifiable once it was enabled for the container.
